PLATEMAKER 5

Xante announced the release of the PlateMaker5. This chemical free CTP system produces polyester plates, film, and paper proofs. Z-Dot technology allows more control over dot gain while also enabling photographs and screens to be imaged with 256 shades of gray (150 lpi). It also enables halftone screens to be controlled and for tints and graduations.
