Xerox Corporation enhanced its FreeFlow Digital Workflow Collection with a copyright management solution which ensures that printed and copied material does not violate copyright laws. It is available as an option for FreeFlow Makeready. The software links directly into Copyright Clearance Center's rights licensing database. Copyright requests or verifications are submitted to the center through FreeFlow Makeready either as electronic files or hardcopy scans that are imported directly from FreeFlow scanners. Price: FreeFlow Makeready, $18,000; copyright management option, $5,000.
