The Bourg Document Finisher (BDF) is a self-contained fully automated finishing system capable of performing three operations in one compact system. Together with the Bourg Suction Tower, it can produce high quality saddle-stitched documents at up to 4,000 an hour. It can produce 5.5x8.5" finished booklets and changes in minutes to produce 8.5x11" finished booklets. The Bourg Document Finisher is also capable of top or corner stitching from two to 55 sheets of 20 lb. stock and can produce saddle stitched documents up to 88 pages at 4,000 sets per hour production rate. The BDF can handle both coated and uncoated stocks. The Bourg Document Finisher is fully automated and requires no tools to change from one sheet size to another or from one application to another. The BDF also has a complete path jam detection for full reporting of document status and system control. It also utilizes electronic stitching heads. -

Duplo USA has released the DBMi Saddle System, Duplo’s heaviest-duty collating and saddle stitching system, and it is now available in the United States, Canada and Latin America. First introduced in the U.S. at Graph Expo 2011, the DBMi Saddle System is the first in its class to produce letter landscape booklets with its ability to process 24” length sheets. The ODM Super Sewer XXL is an automatic in-line sewing machine designed for 'on-demand' photo books (up to 18x18 inches and one-inch thick). The Super Sewer XXL features the same Back Tack Technology, as in the Super Sewer. Simply put, the machine does a reverse lock-stitch on the head and foot of the book block ensuring a very strong side sew which will not come apart like standard side sewn books normally do. The Super Sewer XXL pre-drills holes prior to thread stitching enabling the book block thickness up to one inch. New air cylinder provides additional operator safety. Both the Super Sewer and XXL models can sew up to 600 books per hour and is easy to operate with a touch screen LCD color control panel.
