Konica Minolta's bizhub PRO 1050e offers print/copy output at 105 ppm and a monthly duty cycle of 1.5 million impressions. It is also possible to link two bizhub PRO 1050e devices to produce up to 210 ppm. Using Simitri Polymerized Toner, it is rated for toner yield of 176,000 impressions. Full-bleed 11x17" printing on 12x18" produces two-page spreads, preserving crop marks and borders. Stamps and watermarks can also be added to documents. Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the introduction of the new Toshiba e-STUDIO 455SE Series (models 205/255/305/355/455), the first Toshiba series to come standard with encryption enabled out of the box, and a Data Overwrite Kit. The Data Overwrite Kit, which was previously only available as an optional add-on, ensures that all data is erased after every fax, copy, scan and print job in order to prevent the latent storage of valuable and/or sensitive information on a device, and meets Department of Defense standard 5220.22M.
