The Xanté VM4 CTP systems image high-resolution, violet metal plates for 2-up and 4-up presses. The unit prints up to 36.5x25" maximum plate size at 2540 dpi with line screens of 200 lpi. Integrated with the OpenRIP Symphony workflow, the system includes an internal drum platesetter and the P24 photopolymer plate processor. These systems can be upgraded to add additional features and drivers to grow with your production needs. VM series platesetters utilize a single 60mW violet laser diode instead of an array of thermal lasers, requiring less power and generating less heat. The manual load-unload design and auto vacuum mechanism provide quick plate changes and the option to image various sized plates. These systems are driven by OpenRIP Symphony, an Adobe PostScript 3 RIP that offers a multi-task, multi-device workflow designed to drive all the PostScript and TIFF-in devices in your shop including: platesetters, imagesetters, laser printers, digital copiers, inkjet printers/plotters, and digital presses.
