The media in this high-performance line is constructed with a superior print receptive treatment for direct printing. After imaging, these fabrics are designed to provide outstanding color consistency, excellent image sharpness and a wide color range.

InteliCoat Technologies has announced the renewal of its fabric offerings with the re-release of Magic FAB-6 and FAB TAC-S polyester fabrics. Both FAB-6 and FAB TAC-S have been renewed to meet customer demand for the popular 100% polyester woven fabrics.

Fisher Textiles has added GF 3030 Fencing to its line of grand-format fabrics for dye sublimation and UV printing. This fabric for temporary fencing applications is not like any style Fisher currently carries. GF 3030 Fencing is a thin, open fabric, created specifically for short-term construction barriers, eventing and sports marketing markets. It is 3.0 oz/yd2, 126 inches wide and 100% Polyester. Small holes in the fabric allow for some see through and there is adequate space for printed colors and images.

Newly patented fabric technology from Precision Fabrics Group (PFG) is helping printers realize the full potential of digital fabric printing. CrystalPrint Fabrics, available in nylon and polyester, use precision-made fabric material and a specially formulated textile coating to create the highly uniform print surface that modern digital printing requires. The high quality surface minimizes the color wicking and bleeding that can occur in inkjet printing on fabric. “The result is that printers are able to achieve the sharp definition, tight registration and color intensity that their advanced digital printing equipment was designed to deliver,” says PFG R&D Chemist Wade Burgess. “And printers get this performance job after job.”

Neschen has seen its Pure Color Media line grow with the addition of Fresco AdTex, a lightweight 5 oz/yd2 polyester textile with a removable and repositionable adhesive. Perfect for indoor wall graphic applications, Fresco AdTex features a special inkjet coating that provides excellent imaging with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable inks. Its opaque, matte surface allows placement of graphics while reducing glare and limiting bleed through. This feature translates into a key benefit since there's no need to color prep the area, which saves both time and money.

Fisher Textiles now stocks its popular style 7110 X-Out in 54 inches, previously only available in 110 inches. It is compatible with Dye Sublimation, UV and Latex printing.

7110 X-Out is 6.7 oz/yd2 and is comparable to our style 1800 Blocker although unlike Blocker, X-Out can be sublimated. The base fabric is Polyester with Viscose/Rayon Flocking. It is flame retardant, passes NFPA 701, Title 19 and is registered in the State of California (CSFM Registration Number: F-93901) and meets Section 13115 of the California Health and Safety Code. Applications include block out liner and opaque single sided banners.

Fisher Textiles has announced its popluar style, Opak Poplin for Dye Sublimation and UV printing is back in stock and is now produced in house.

Opak Poplin is a three layer material consisting of two pieces of style 6248 Poly Poplin bonded to a 100% lamination film that is sandwiched in the middle. The film makes the product 100 percent opaque, waterproof and wind resistant. It is 12.8 oz/yd2, available at 57 inches wide and can easilly have finished edges. Opak Poplin is excellent for double sided banners, roll up bannerstands and street pole banners.

Fisher Textiles has added styles DD 2300 Satin and DD 7908 Suede (FR) to its line of fabrics for Direct Disperse printing. This fabric line is compatible with d-Gen Teleios, Dupont Artistri, Durst Rhotex 320, Jeti 3324 AquaJet, Mimaki JV5-320DS, Mimaki DS-1600, Mimaki DS-1800, Mutoh Viper TX, Roland HeatWave and Roland Hi-Fi Express printers.

Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, Inc. has added VC Poly Banner Light and VC Poly Banner Plus to its Northern Lights Printable Textiles collection.

VC Poly Banner Light is a economical, polymer-coated, 4.5 oz., 100 percent woven polyester fabric. The print-receptive coating gives this textile a sheer, elegant look that is ideal for indoor, or short-term outdoor, banners and displays (window, POP, kiosk, theatrical and trade show).

Fisher Textiles has replaced style GF 6640 Poly Linen with GF 6640 Poly Canvas (FR) in its line of Grand Format fabrics for Dye Sublimation and UV printing.

GF 6640 Poly Canvas (FR) is 8.4 oz/yd2 and 121 inches wide. The new GF 6640 is whiter than the original and an ounce heavier. It is flame retardant and passes NFPA 701. The base fabric is 100 percent polyester and has a soft cotton, linen-like feel, excellent for home furnishing applications. Additional applications include banners and table covers.
