XMPie's uStore 4.0 Web-to-print marketing portal solution includes several new features that help users expand their operations into the business-to-consumer (B-to-C) space and improve the day-to-day management of a Web portal. One notable B-to-C feature is anonymous shopping, which lets store visitors browse offerings and add items to shopping carts without being registered, only requiring registration upon checkout. Another feature is the ability to tag store products and categories with searchable terms to maximize visibility to search engines.
This version provides a new tool for image handling, supporting both basic image editing and semi-automatic color correction tools, which are enabled by Xerox's Image Enhancement technology. Other new features include enhanced user and group management and permission management capabilities, allowing store administrators to organize customers and operators with defined access, roles, and permissions. Rounding out the improvements is the addition of the Ogone payment option, which provides another payment gateway. Ogone covers most of the world and also supports localized European payment methods such as ELV, Giropay and iDEAL.
