MAILERS+4 is distributed on a DVD and is a standard Microsoft Windows-based application. MAILERS+4 now includes DPV which matches the address to one of the 145 million plus delivery points (deliverable addresses) on file with the USPS before appending the ZIP + 4 code. It validates accurate delivery address information and identifies inaccurate, incomplete, or erroneous addresses contained in a mailing file.

Once a mailing list is opened in MAILERS+4, it can be verified, standardized to USPS and Canadian postal requirements, and ZIP + 4 and Carrier Route information can then be added. Additionally, the software will attempt to correct bad addresses. To reduce printing and postage costs even further, a duplicate record check with six criteria-search options can be performed to eliminate duplicate names and addresses.

Another feature of MAILERS+4 is one-click access Melissa Data NCOA^Link Move Update processing. NCOA^Link services update the addresses in a database or mailing list by using the address data on file with the USPS (over 160 million change-of-address records for the last 48 months). Using NCOA^Link services helps reduce undeliverable-as-addressed mail, and satisfies the USPS Move Update requirement for postal discounts on First-Class and Standard mailings.
