GPA proudly announces the latest addition to their digital paper offering: Ultra Photo – Photo Lustre Papers for HP Indigo presses. Its satin-matte coated surface offers the look and feel of a genuine photo print, rivaling the qualities of traditional silver halide papers with the on-demand advantages of digital printing.

The ink adhesion and color reproduction of Ultra Photo – Photo Lustre Papers are unsurpassed for exceptionally high depth of contrast and lifelike reproduction. Specially engineered, the surface of these papers combines the advantages of matte and glossy photo finishes for a reflection-free surface that reduces glare while repelling dirt and fingerprints. This sheet’s construction allows it to stand up to the demands of repeated handling, and it is heirloom-quality archival for a lifetime of vibrancy.

Ultra Photo – Photo Lustre Papers allow HP Indigo printers to produce authentic photo books and take advantage of the rapidly growing premium segment of the photo book market. These papers are also the substrate solution for a wide variety of applications including high quality digital prints for school and family portraits, yearbooks, calendars, annual reports, brochures, flyers, posters and greeting cards. They offer the added advantage of two-sided printability for a wider range of application possibilities.

Due to this sheet’s special surface, no additional surface coatings (such as UV) are necessary because each sheet looks luminous and is durable right off the press. These papers are suitable for a variety of finishing processes including die cutting, scoring, folding, gluing, embossing, debossing, foil stamping, stitching and perfect binding. Ultra Photo – Photo Lustre Papers are available in 65-pound & 100-pound Cover weights in both 18x12 and 19x13 sheet sizes. The 100-pound Cover is also available in a 13 x 18 sheet with FlexBind for layflat photo pages. These sheets are RIT and HP Indigo certified for guaranteed flawless performance on press.
