Rollem (Booth 624) is demonstrating two-directional systems, including the mid-level ETR system with its Interleaf strike capability. The unit has the ability to program perforations on different pages, such as multiple page invoices, with the last page requiring a tear-off remittance. Key to the ETR is the ability to slit and score on all types of digitally printed materials, independent of the press method, i.e., toner based, ink based. The 100% accurate registration is a key feature of the Rollem ETR. It performs edge trimming, bleed-slitting, scoring, stop-perforation on all types of products, ranging from direct mail pieces and brochures to telephone cards and variable data sheets. The deep pile feeder handles up to 30" of stack at a time for increased output volume and decreased operator time.
With the addition of a Rollem Rollaway, sheets with multiple images are trimmed and cut in two directions to produce stacks of highly accurate finished cards, with the ability to include multiple perforations for reply cards or coupons. Stocks ranging from 16-lb onion skin to 40-pt. board, UV coated materials and cross grained papers are easily handled.
