Agfa Graphics (Booths 844, 2611) is unveiling its :Anapurna M-series (second generation) G2 UV inkjet inks for Agfa’s :Anapurna M series printers. :Anapurna G2 inks were specifically formulated to be 20 percent more flexible than the G1 ink, allowing for the final printed images to be more resistant against cracking or flaking when bent, folded or cut. Edges remain smooth and free from noticeable defects, thus increasing the output options.
Accelerated weathering tests on Agfa’s :Anapurna M-series G2 inks on different substrates indicate outdoor durability of over two years under normal conditions. These digital inks print sharp, vibrant colors with a wider color gamut on a full range of substrates. The high pigment load of the :Anapurna G2 inks allows for a thinner coating of ink to be applied to the substrate and better light transmission for a wider color gamut and minimal ink consumption and ultimately cost savings.
Agfa’s :Anapurna M-series G2 inks are fast-curing for higher productivity, and adhere to a wide variety of rigid and flexible, coated and uncoated substrates, such as PVC (vinyl, rigid and foam board), PET, papers, corrugated board and Dibond, without the need for adhesion promoters or lamination. Optimal jetting behavior ensures the easiest and cleanest maintenance schedule.
