NAPL Business Development Module Program

The NAPL Business Development Module Program from the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) systematically matches a company’s defined business management needs with sharply targeted solutions that will be implemented by NAPL Business Advisory Team specialists. The new program, unveiled at GRAPH EXPO 2010 in Chicago, Oct. 3-6, includes applications for any graphic communications industry business area, from strategic assessment and financial analysis to operations and marketing.

 

Aligned with the comprehensive NAPL Management Plus business management approach, each of the program’s 100+ modules includes a detailed description of the processes that will be involved in addressing a company's precise needs, the deliverables the company can expect to receive, the results that the program will achieve, the amount of time the approaches will require, and the exact costs that will be incurred. Each client will receive a clear engagement proposal that outlines the advisory plan and exact fees.

 

The NAPL Business Development Module Program is flexible, affordable, and tailored to each company's current issues, and modules have been developed to meet the requirements of the Association's diverse membership. Any consulting assignment begins with a review of an individual company’s needs by an NAPL advisor, who will work with the client to determine whether advisory services can best be delivered by using a single module, combining several modules into a bundle of services, or creating an annual retainer-based program of work.

 

Some programs, such as the Performance Indicator Review module, are “one-size-fits-all,” with industry-wide applications; others are designed for specific users, such as owner/operator shops, mid-size commercial operations, or large manufacturers. And some modules, such as the Strategic Planning Programs, are available in multiple versions for customized delivery to fit the exact needs of a particular business size and type.
