Nordson Corporation introduces VersaPUR adhesive slug melters as the latest of its moisture-curing reactive (PUR) adhesive application systems to facilitate and enable PUR adhesive use in manufacturing. The VersaPUR melter simplifies processing of moisture-cure reactive hot melt adhesives from environmentally-friendly, twenty-kilogram foil-encased slugs, without the need for inert gas. VersaPUR melters are ideal for use in a wide variety of assembly applications including edge banding, profile wrapping, bookbinding and automotive subassembly.

The new Standard Horizon CRF-362 Creaser/Folder has been designed to handle the unique requirements of creasing and folding digital color output across a wide range of light and heavy weight stocks, coated or uncoated. Creasing and folding can be done in one pass for easy and accurate processing of a variety of applications such as restaurant menus, greeting cards, book covers, and marketing collateral. Capable of up to ten crease lines on a sheet, the system uses an impact scoring technology that eliminates or minimizes cracking of the stock or printed image. Set-up and changeovers – including fold pattern, creasing number, and up/down crease selection – can be easily achieved through the high resolution color touch screen designed for simple and intuitive operation.

Eastsign has developed a brand new flatbed laminator – BU-1400FA This equipment is designed for cold laminating on panels. Maximum laminating size is 63x157 inches while maximum laminating thickness is 2.5 inches.

Eastsign BU-1600II WARM is the latest entry level cold laminator. Maximum laminating width is 63 inches while maximum laminating thickness is 1.3 inches. This equipment enhances cold laminating result by heat assist. The roller heats up the film up to 140 degree Fahrenheit. It saves labor cost and time, which lamination is driven by motor or controlled by pedal switch. There is emergency switch. The machine stops working immediately to protect operator.
