Automatic Traveling RF welders

As the need to "Go Green" with new materials and substrates continues to flourish, the Industrial Fabrics manufacturer is continually challenged with the need to be able to weld or finish these fabrics utilizing their existing machines. Now, more than ever, lightweight PE material, polyesters, and polypropylenes are leading the recyclable and greener way across many applications, and the last thing manufacturers want to do is resort to a manual sewing process, especially those that have already achieved significant efficiencies and improved quality for their vinyl (PVC) production with the use of automatic traveling RF welders.

In order to allow its customers to move forward with these new materials in the most efficient manner possible, JTE has partnered with S.M.R.E. Engineering, an Italian based machine manufacturer of over fifteen years. As S.M.R.E.’s new North and South American distributor, JTE can provide manufacturer’s with an easy, fast, and very efficient way to weld PVC coated material AND their newer polyesters and thermal plastics, using the Dual Technology, SM-210-SA automatic line welder. This system, already a standard in the European manufacturing of awnings, solar shades and insect screens, integrates two technologies on board one automatic traveling line welder, combining Ultrasonic, Hot Air, or Liquid Glue for an "All in One" machine that can weld thermal plastics or acrylics together with the more traditional PVC based materials. The S.M.R.E. line welders include a patented method of automatically controlling the speed, pressure and torque during the welding process, producing a more consistently smooth and beautiful looking seam, which is often "invisible" to the end user. In the same or smaller foot print of traditional technology welders, customers can now achieve the best strength, quality, and efficiency for production of products requiring PVC, thermal plastics and acrylics, while most often eliminating the need for seaming tape. This translates into cutting edge, "greener" products and increased profitability for JTE customers.

If customers prefer to work with a stationary machine with the benefit of dual technology, JTE offers the new Dual RF/Impulse Stationary Welder, available in 8kw-20kw with a 33 inch space behind the sealing bar. Impulse technology has proven successful with welding most PE materials directly, and other thermal plastics using seaming tape.
