Life Cycle Analysis in the Printing Industry: A Review (PICRM-2011-05)

This meta-analysis focused on the data sources and methodologies used in the included studies. Fourteen LCA studies on a variety of topics related to imaging equipment were compared in order to identify common practices, limitations, and areas for improvement and standardization.

Exploring Existing Measures of Environmental Impacts of Print: A Survey of Existing Practices (PICRM-2011-06)

This survey-based study explores the state of practice of sustainability measures within the printing industry in order to better understand the specific needs and challenges that need to be addressed to standardize the assessment of the environmental impacts of print. The main objective of the survey was to establish a baseline for the current state of adoption and implementation of sustainability practices within the printing industry.
