Fisher Textiles has added GF 901 Glossy Canvas to its line of Grand Format fabrics for Latex, Solvent and UV printing.
GF 901 Glossy is 11.25 oz/sqyd and is available at 104 inches. It is 65 percent Polyester, 35 percent Cotton with two acrylic latex primer basecoats and a glossy solvent inkjet receptive topcoat. It offers a glossy finish with the best results for Dmax, color volume and resolution. Suggested applications include Fine Art Reproductions, Wall Murals and up-scale Retail Signage.

Value Vinyls has introduced a new 6 oz. mesh developed to be used at major events and concerts. Rio 6 oz. Event Mesh is compatible with UV and solvent inks and meets NFPA-701 test standards where additional fire code jurisdiction is required.

Fisher Textiles has replaced style GF 6640 Poly Linen with GF 6640 Poly Canvas (FR) in its line of Grand Format fabrics for Dye Sublimation and UV printing.
GF 6640 Poly Canvas (FR) is 8.4 oz/yd2 and 121 inches wide. The new GF 6640 is whiter than the original and an ounce heavier. It is flame retardant and passes NFPA 701. The base fabric is 100 percent polyester and has a soft cotton, linen-like feel, excellent for home furnishing applications. Additional applications include banners and table covers.
Ultraflex (Booth 2314) will introduce several new products at ISA 2012 in their golf-themed booth. Pole Banner Pro 18 oz. is a fire-rated, heavy-duty blockout banner material for indoor and outdoor two sided applications such as pole banners and event signage. MultiTex C220 is a 6.5oz multi-purpose canvas made from 100 percent polyester spun yarn. It is a great economical choice for fine art reproduction, indoor displays, wall murals and other art décor applications. It stretched and framed and comes in widths ranging from 39 to 122 inches. Billboard 520' Eclipse is a 7 oz. black-backed substrate for billboard applications. Its 520-foot length increases a print facility’s production and efficiency by reducing the amount of time changing out material. Billboard 520' Eclipse is solvent and uv printable and comes is 193-inch widths. FloorFlex is a printable floor vinyl that is suitable for Latex and UV printers. It is engineered with a non slip latex backing and is ideal for indoor use but may be used outdoors for short-durations. Recommended applications include corporate lobbies, waiting areas, foyers, tradeshow booth floor graphics, catwalks, and various types of promotional events.
Value Vinyls has introduced a new line of PET scrimless products. Rio PET Sign Media has an extremely smooth matte finish that is compatible with screen printing, digital printing and pressure sensitive lettering. This material is intended for long-term indoor and short-term outdoor display usage and engineered to provide low-curl and vibrant prints when producing hemless signs. Rio PET is best used for applications such as banners, banner stands, retail/aisle banners, point of purchase, and outdoor banners.

Fisher Textiles has added GF 3155 Diamond Mesh (FR) to its line of Grand Format fabrics for dye sublimation printing. GF 3155 Diamond Mesh is a 3 bar warp knit fabric with a slight sheen that is light weight, 1.8 oz/yd2 and 100 percent Polyester. It is FR and passes the NFPA 701 small scale 1996 version and is available 122-inches wide. Named for its unique diamond pattern, this product presents a very high quality print and is excellent for translucent printing that requires the image to be visible from both sides. Suggested applications include various apparel, home furnishings and trade show applications.
