The company's PriscoTech SolvKlene II solvent recycler system, part of the “Go Green with Prisco” portfolio, allows for easy and safe distillation and recycling of waste solvents used to clean and maintain printing presses. Prisco (Printers' Service) also offers an extensive selection of recyclable solvents for optimum performance in every pressroom application.
PriscoTech SolvKlene systems are a cost-effective solution for dealing with the substantial amount of waste solvent generated by presses equipped with automatic blanket solvent washing systems. Solvents are distilled in the PriscoTech SolvKlene II system to remove contaminants, including water, ink and debris. In the case of water miscible solvents, water is separated from the solvent during the process. Water-miscible reclaimed solvent is ready for use after adding a specific percentage of the appropriate concentrate to restore components that may have been removed during the process. The recycled solvent is then equal to the original in its performance characteristics. The clean, recycled solvent can be used over and over.
SolvKlene II systems are offered in batch and continuous-feed models to meet the needs of almost any size plant.
