The Vantage 720 folder/gluer system, an in-line folding box gluer designed and engineered by B&R Moll, Inc. (Booth 4033), now has a production capacity of more than 25,000 boxes per hour, which represents a substantial increase over the previous model. The Vantage 720 system is ideally suited for producing straight-line boxes, table tents, sleeves, CD wallets, computer software cartons, and presentation folders. An optional kit for producing auto-lock bottom boxes is available with this system.
The Vantage 720 system features an all-belt drive that is quieter, smoother running and longer lasting than conventional gear- or chain-driven drives; stainless steel guides that eliminate marring, and are more durable and easier to clean than conventional guides; a Trombone delivery system that assure a very positive delivery into the stacking system; and an optional dual stream feeding capability.
A major component of the Vantage 720 system is the Moll Pressure Stacker, which is designed for coatings requiring the extra glue penetration time and positive control after folding. This specialized pressure stacker incorporates adjustable height intake alignment, DC speed-controlled top and bottom drive, full-width motorized blankets, and adjustable pressure control.
