Roland’ DGA (Booth 3835) is showcasing the VersaUV LEF-12 Benchtop UV-LED flatbed inkjet printer, designed for quality printing on promotional products. An affordable, versatile printer, the LEF-12 features white and clear inks, along with CMYK, for printing directly on a wide range of items, from thumb drives and pens to cell covers, laptops, wood, acrylics, glass and even metals. Clear ink enhances graphics with both gloss and matte finishes, and unique textures for premium results.
With a 12-inch by 11-inch printable area, the LEF-12 supports a wide range of materials up to 3.94 inches thick and 11 pounds. Using Roland’s ECO-UV ink, it provides an extended color gamut and bright, saturated white images and text. Graphics can be finished with ECO-UV clear ink to produce patterns and textures, as well as simulate varnishing and embossing effects. Roland VersaWorks RIP software is included. To minimize ink waste, an automated ink circulation system is included. The LEF-12 includes mist filters to catch residual ink that may mist when printing off a product’s edges, reducing overspray and protecting the printer’s internal components.
