Pitney Bowes (Booth 2010) is introducing Pitney Bowes MarketSpace, a Service as Software technology that leverages the available space on transpromo statements for black-and-white or color advertisements. MarketSpace creates a “market” for transpromo document owners that makes their statements available to third party advertisers, while allowing advertisers to browse the available documents and select ad placement based upon targeted demographic profiling.
MarketSpace uses psychographic tools to profile the available documents, giving advertisers the ability to only purchase space on statements going to specific target markets. It also generates comprehensive reports that are used by all parties for billing and reconciliation. All of this is done in a secure environment, with none of the actual recipient data ever leaving the document owner’s internal network. The document owner retains the right to refuse an potential ads.
