RISO, Inc. (Booth 2238) will demonstrate advanced full-color inkjet printing with two RISO ComColor models, the 9050 and 7050, as well as feature high-speed duplicating technology.
The production-speed, full-color inkjet printers feature speeds up to 150 ppm and low full-color running costs. The models showcased will print a variety of unique applications:
The ComColor 9050 sheetfed inkjet printer provides long-running reliability in mid- to high-volume printing environments with a realistic duty cycle of 500,000 prints per month. Three 9050s will be demonstrated, including two standalone units demonstrating the new ComColor dynamic tray call that automatically pulls and prints up to four different paper stocks on-the-fly for complex transaction, transpromotional, and direct marketing applications. Another 9050 will demonstrate the functions of the optional scanner and finishing system.
The 120 ppm ComColor 7050 (pictured) for production and entry-level commercial environments provides a scalable migration from basic black-and-white to color for any workflow. The 7050 will be paired with the Kirk-Rudy MICR-Mate to demonstrate a unique transpromotional MICR application with embedded digital void security pantographs.
At speeds up to 180 ppm, the RZ1090 digital duplicator features a short paper path that supports a wide range of paper stocks to deliver reliable spot-color print production. The RZ1090 will demonstrate high-speed envelope production using the Thompson T-100D and T-200 continuous envelope feeding system.
