The latest fabrics in the Northern Lights Printable Textiles by Aurora (Booth 1832) collection will be on display at SGIA. All of these fabrics—ACT II SP, Linen SP and Twill SP—are pre-treated for optimal print performance, allowing the ink to sit on top of the fabric, yielding brighter color pop, sharper line definition and a softer hand.
Act II SP is a plain weave, 7.5 oz fabric with a canvas-like texture that has been scoured and heat set for dye sublimation printing, but may also be used with direct, UV-cure digital printing. It is available in 60 to 120 inch widths.
Linen SP is made of spun yarns that give this 100 percent polyester fabric the look and feel of cotton table linens. It is 16 mils thick and weighs 7 oz/sq yd.
Twill SP consists of ring spun yards in a twill weave that create the look and feel of cotton denim, with the durability of polyester. It is 20 mils thick and weighs 8 oz/sq yd.
