Following its world debut at in Sakurai Graphic System's exhibit at Internepcon Japan, Sakurai USA (Booth 3202) will feature the MS-80SD with an optical camera registration system and Nathgraph curing unit at SGIA '11 in New Orleans.
Sakurai has introduced a number of technological advances for the Maestro MS-80SD Cylinder Screen Press including an industry first optical camera registration system with a large monitor, a Laser Positioning Assist for screen frame changes and a Numerical Indications system designed to improve registration and performance.
These exclusive new systems combined with the servo driven MS-80SD's automated features allows Sakurai to offer the most precise cylinder screen press available today for industrial and multi-color overlay printing. Sakurai's new optical camera registration system provides the screen printer with an optional registration mechanism in addition to the traditional edge guide registration used on the first print. Additional images passed thru the press can now be optically registered to the previous impression by the use of a camera and patent pending sheet movement system. This allows the printer to achieve registration beyond what traditional edge guide systems allowed. In addition, a large display monitor shows the camera working and the precise amount of movement.
