Newly Corporation’s Scanera TopFace Pro provides exceptionally high resolution scanning of 3D objects. The large format 23x33x4-inch top face scanning bed enables the scanning of food, artwork, stone, tile and other 3D objects. With a depth of field up to four inches, the scanera can capture 3D objects and true-to-life textures, including wood grains and individual brush strokes, which are precisely captured at 130 million pixels.
Applications include scanning and archiving rare art, reprographics, digitizing sample portfolios, brochures, food, and scanning textiles and other patterns. The life-like quality of the scans produced from the Scanera make them ideal for use by reprographic shops, museums, archivists, photographers, auction houses and more.
For unprecedented realism, the Scanera is equipped with a revolutionary large scale integrated circuit (LSI), enabling the capture of realistic images and Intelligence Image Enhancement. A unique variable light source brings out shadows and highlights to further enhance quality. Uniquely scanning objects from an angle, the Scanera captures details and topographic elements lost by flat bed scanners. The angles of the unit’s fluorescent lights are adjusted throughout the scan to better capture 3D object features. A proprietary video circuit interprets scanned data and creates a realistic replication.
