Badgetec has developed a new round clip-on Button Tag for campaign & political purposes. Political and campaign buttons were created about 150 years ago, but now have morphed into clip-on Button Tags that can be commercially printed or laser printed ‘on-demand’ at the time of a campaign event with the candidates QRCodes, allowing for high tech media links by the audience. These new Badgetec Button Tags can be printed prior to a candidate's speech or before a scheduled campaign event with the QR Code for that particular event, linking the attendees to a current Webpage for the candidate’s message. This provides an extension of the material available for attendees and members of the press, as well as emphasizing key points on which the candidate is speaking. These Webpages can also outline current issues and policy positions. Button Tags and Webpages may provide photos and press releases for members of the media.
Button Tags can be commercially printed in large quantities or they as round diecut circles on standard laser and inkjet printable sheets that can be printed front and back on office equipment. Each Button Tag has a slot punched near the top for attaching Badgetec’s new Contour Clip – replacing the traditional metal frame and pin. The Contour Clip is clothing-safe and attaches to a garment like a large "paperclip". By distributing Button Tags with current information and QRCodes, attendees at the candidate’s event become more involved and remain updated on important topics. QRCode Webpages can also solicit funds while excitement is high!
