Transformations, a leader in high-performance, comprehensive mail processing solutions is bringing new levels of performance and productivity to transactional mailing operations with the release of Uluro uCompose 5.0, a significantly enhanced version that can dramatically reduce the time required to deliver complex documents.

uCompose has always offered a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that lets users quickly and easily design and build documents. Version 5.0 is now connected to the same database used as the foundation for all of Uluro’s deep functionality. This lets users refine and produce information-rich documents faster and more easily.

A new graphing tool, for example, offers several new styles of graphs including 3-dimensional and rotating options for better presentation of data. A new Object Inspector and improved drawing functions make it easier to create, test, and instantly implement new document designs. New revisions to statement features such as font size and color, as well as positions of text, boxes and other elements can be made “live” and done once, saved as a global change, and a job using the new design can be run immediately. An updated new-version control feature offers a complete audit trail of all changes to aid collaboration and ensure accuracy of revisions. Don’t like the changes? Just use the new Undo function.

uCompose also provides improved support for unique data streams, decreasing the need for repetitive data preparations. New wizards provide enhanced support for RTF and XML formats and a new PDF wizard has the ability to map text directly from a text based PDF and is smart enough to check the contents of an incoming PDF file—not just the extension—to ensure it is actually a PDF file.
