Shelf Marker and Shelf Talker Labelstocks

UPM Raflatac announces the launch of a range of paper-faced products for shelf labeling applications that provide label converters and retailers with compelling, environmentally preferable alternatives to traditional vinyl products. Utilizing Latex Impregated and Jetlaser Translucent paper-based face materials, these new shelf marker and shelf talker labelstocks for the Americas market offer superior on-the-job performance for on-the-shelf product information and advertising.

Unlike traditional vinyl products, which are produced with nonrenewable petrochemicals, UPM Raflatac’s Latex Impregnated and Jetlaser Translucent shelf marker and shelf talker labelstocks are largely composed of renewable wood fiber and can be variable information printed without a specialized top-coating, which boosts converter productivity. When paired with UPM Raflatac’s RR22 adhesive, these labelstocks provide good initial tack and excellent removability throughout their usage cycles.

“As part of UPM, the Biofore company, we’re committed to helping labelstock converters and retailers implement more sustainable labeling solutions,” says Linnea Keen, VIP Business Director, Americas, UPM Raflatac. “Our new shelf labeling products provide companies with all of the performance benefits of traditional vinyls, while increasing efficiency and generating cost savings.”
