Kodak (Booth 1221) is showing additional enhancements for the KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Platform to meet the needs of commercial printers, direct mail houses, photo service providers, in-plant printers, and data centers and transactional printers. The newest enhancements include new Gold, Pearlescent, and Neon Pink printing effects using Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions.
Winner of a 2012 Must See ‘Ems, Kodak’s new “gold standard” print solution is being shown running at the Kodak booth, accompanied by samples of the pearlescent and neon pink options that will be available as Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions as well.
Printing Industries of America (PIA) recently presented Kodak with a 2012 InterTech Technology Award honoring Kodak’s NEXPRESS Red Fluorescing Dry Ink’s innovative capabilities. The KODAK NEXPRESS Red Fluorescing Dry Ink Solution helps printers provide increased security and fraud protection on documents, packaging, promotional, and direct mail materials and is part of the KODAK NEXPRESS Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions portfolio.
This year’s InterTech Technology Award marks the third time Kodak has received Printing Industries of America recognition for its Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions.
As a major advantage over competitors, KODAK NEXPRESS Presses offer unique field upgradability, which minimizes risk and avoids technology obsolescence. The new enhancements shown at GRAPH EXPO are available as upgrades.
