Photoluminescent Rigid PVC & Aluminum light up Staircase ID Signs without electricity Product From American PERMALIGHT, Inc.: PERMALIGHT® photoluminescent Rigid PVC Sheet (Model: CC-RIGID), photoluminescent Aluminum Sheets (Model: CC-ALU) and Polyester Thin Film (Model: CC-TAPE) are UL1994-listed by Underwriters Laboratories and ideal to print Staircase Identification Signs in compliance with the 2012 IBC and IFC codes to help building occupants evacuate a darkened building. During a building fire, power failure or simply at night, such signs in code-compliant 12” x 18” size show their message to evacuating building occupants and to fire fighters who access an unfamiliar building staircase.

These three high-performance glow-in-the-dark substrates are well receptive to solvent-based digital printing inks. The rigid PVC and Aluminum can also get used to create ADA signage for the Visually Impaired by adding raised floor numbers and by inserting small Braille beads.

FiberMate graphic display boards are finished with Eco-Finish—a white water-based UV print coating on both sides. FiberMate’s Eco-Finish is designed to provide excellent ink and paint adhesion on both sides of this graphic display board, enabling double-sided printing and other double-sided finishing applications.
