To enable organizations and individuals to print round buttons, Badgetec has introduced a new die-cut sheet of round tags. The sheet can be printed on most laser or inkjet office printers so that large or small quantities can be produced for promotions or events. Round button tags can also serve as meeting name badges.
Wearable buttons have been in use since they were introduced in 1855 when the pin-back metal button was patented. They provide many benefits to both the individuals wearing them and the organizations providing them, such as insuring visibility and self-expression.
Also, round button tags are never tilted. Round is beautiful!
Recyclable cardstock and white polyester diecut sheets are now available for self-printing in either the new round format or standard rectangles. All tags and badges on the diecut sheets have a slot punched-out for attaching a clip or lanyard. Historically, pins and clear plastic holders have been the only means for wearing visible displays of this type.
With the Badgetec standard 8.5x11” diecut sheets made of cardstock or white polyester, the badge material is sufficiently rigid for the slot at the top to attach a clip and lanyard. In addition, these standard size sheets can be printed using Microsoft Word (AVERY) templates. One simply separates the printed tags from the sheet and issues them to the attendee.
To complement the recyclable tags, Badgetec developed a new recyclable/reusable polypropylene clip – the Contour Clip. The Contour Clip fastens through the slot in the badge and slides over the edge of one’s garments like a ‘paperclip’. These new clips are clothing-safe and child-safe.
