Zebra Technologies Corporation, a recognized global leader in solutions that extend real-time visibility into business operations, announced the release of the QLn420 wireless mobile printer.
Developed to respond to evolving customer needs for better integration capabilities into current business ecosystems and other demands, the reliable and durable printer allows users to quickly and accurately address label-printing needs to achieve increased productivity and efficiency in warehousing, shipping and receiving and merchandising applications. The QLn420 is one of the first products Zebra is releasing in 2013 that is enabled with Zebra's Link-OS(TM) operating system for faster and easier printer integration, set up and management.
"Zebra is focused on making products integrate and operate seamlessly within an organization's network," said Keith LeFebvre, VP of product management at Zebra Technologies. "The QLn420's features and functions make it an intuitive printer that addresses customer pain points such as durability in harsh environments, reliability, fast printing and easy-to-use functionality."
Link-OS is an innovative, new operating system that pairs a powerful software development kit and software apps with smart Zebra devices, making them easy to integrate, manage and maintain from any location.
Zebra offers a core set of PC, smartphone and tablet-based applications for the QLn420 through the Link-OS operating system to enable effortless device pairing and mobile device management.
As the latest addition to the QLn mobile printer family, the QLn420 can print different label sizes up to a width of four inches to accommodate various applications within the manufacturing, transportation and logistics and retail industries. Applications for the QLn420 include:
