Graphium, premiering at PRINT’13 in the Fujifilm booth 1218, represents the next generation of UV inkjet press for labels, packaging and specialty print. Graphium is for converters and printers producing labels, packaging and specialty print that want to increase margins and revenue streams on their short to medium job runs; including a wider 16” web width for increased productivity. Graphium is a modular digital UV inkjet press that puts choice, flexibility and productivity into the hands of printers and converters enabling them to embrace complex projects requiring a wide gamut of colors on virtually any substrate, up to six digital and four flexo color stations, and very high opacity white ink. Productivity is further increased by the tight integration of pre-press tools that cater for conventional and digital print processes. Graphium has the unique capability of integrating optional flexo stations for hybrid production and optional inline finishing for converting in one pass. With Graphium, printers and converters finally have a press that allows them to fully embrace complex label, packaging and specialty jobs that simply aren’t achievable with standalone conventional or inkjet presses. Graphium’s innovative XMF workflow, prepress, ColorPath management software and leading edge Adaptive Screening Technology ensure consistent quality through repeatable production, guaranteed match between press and proof, and alignment to color standards – all resulting in high quality, vibrant printing with excellent adhesion, light fastness and durability.
