The DIALOGUE Engine soft proofing server from Dalim (Booth 4245) can be integrated into any third-party DAM or custom-designed web page. Clients add soft proofing capabilities to a system they already feel comfortable with. Given the right permissions, any document is instantly available for review in a standard web browser —without plug-ins.
With a virtually unlimited zoom, users can review or approve high-resolution documents without fast Internet access. Comments and requests for corrections are stored on a centralized server. Measuring densities or checking available layers is only a mouse click away. Opacity and order of separations can be easily altered to simulate a specific printing process or ink characteristics. When working in a color controlled environment with packaging files—or any file with spot colors—DIALOGUE Engine can read the spot color's spectral value along with Lab equivalents, for an accurate display.
With DIALOGUE Engine’s SWOP® color certification, color renderings match printed end results. The server-based closed-loop calibration system makes quality assurance easy — even at remote sites. Just plug the colorimeter into the computer’s USB port.
New annotation management features allow users to comment to others’ notes. Annotations can be checked as "done", for better tracking of 'to-do' items.
