3A Composites USA has announced that Fome-Cor graphic display board now is offered with the brightest whitest surface available to create graphics that pop in direct digital-printing and screen-printing applications. Fome-Cor Bright White is ideal for direct printing point-of-purchase displays, interior signage, and exhibits and kiosks as well as for mounting printed graphics.
Fome-Cor Bright White officially will be introduced at the Specialty Printing & Imaging 2013 SGIA Expo in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 23-25 at the Orange County Convention Center. Stop by the 3A Composites USA Booth No. 1212 for product samples.
“Fome-Cor Bright White – which features much brighter, whiter clay-coated paper liners – replaces our existing white Fome-Cor board as the new standard,” said Brandon Wyatt, market manager, Graphic Display, 3A Composites USA. “All customers ordering white Fome-Cor board now will receive the Fome-Cor Bright White product. This new bright white surface allows for true color reproduction, resulting in more vibrant, colorful printed graphics. We’re pleased that three categories in our graphic display product lines – including Sintra, Gatorfoam, and Fome-Cor board – now feature a Bright White product option.”
Fome-Cor board was the first foam board on the market and is still the board that graphic artists’ ask for by name. It consists of extruded polystyrene foam bonded between various high-quality papers that feature a smooth surface for decorating. Fome-Cor board is lightweight, rigid, warp-resistant and easy to cut.
Fome-Cor board is manufactured by 3A Composites USA in a wide range of standard sizes ranging from 20-by-30 inch sheets up to 60-by-120 inch sheets in the Bright White and Black colors and in the 1/8-inch, 3/16-inch and 3/8-inch thicknesses.
