The Pitney Bowes ADF Enabled Document Collator, which can be seen in Booth 1947, provides mail operations the ability to automate manual workcells and to track and integrate those workcells into an Automated Document Factory (ADF) reporting system. This unique solution combines industry proven Pitney Bowes high-speed document processing technology and high integrity, integrated Direct Connect document intelligence to automate the processing of oversize collations ranging from 1 to 300+ sheets at speeds up to 50,000 sheets per hour and an output up to 20 times faster than traditional hand processed workcells. This solution complements the inserting solutions available to transactional mail operations and is ideally suited for processing statements, invoices, and other high value transactional customer communications. The solution scans every sheet within a collation, builds the collation and processes every collation within a job. Any scan errors are automatically diverted to a divert tray. The Document Collator user interface notifies the operator of the end of set and the correct inserts for the collation. With the ADF Enabled Document Collator, print and mail operations can now achieve greater operational productivity and efficiency with the same level of integrity and ADF reporting capabilities for manually processed jobs as what is achieved in high volume transactional inserter workcells.
