Geomagic Print Driver for 3D Printers

3D Systems announced Geomagic Print, a print driver that makes 3D files from virtually any source instantly printable on 3DS' entire portfolio of ProJet and ProX series printers. In line with 3DS' commitment to democratizing access to 3D printing, Geomagic Print is an easy-to-use, intuitive tool that automates and optimizes the print prep process across 3DS' platform of professional 3D printers. Geomagic Print is immediately available with the company's new ProJet 5500X multi-material composites 3D printer and will become available across the entire portfolio during the first half of 2014.

Geomagic Print makes it easy to achieve outstanding 3D printing results by accepting files from any CAD system along with a variety of other 3D applications and preparing them for 3D printing. This powerful universal print driver can automatically setup supports, nest multiple parts into a single job and ensure the ideal settings for optimal true-to-CAD print results. Geomagic Print also detects and directs the correction of problem files and optimizes designs based on the specific 3DS printer that will be used, eliminating the need to learn and maintain any other print preparation software.
