At InPrint 2014, J-Teck3 will showcase the the J-Cube RF/KF, a digital ink for sublimation printing on industrial printers with Kyocera and Ricoh print heads launched last year in June, and a new digital ink, exclusively dedicated to Industrial Printing applications.
The new product is called J-MelaMine, a waterbased pigment for large format industrial digital printers with Kyocera heads. It has been studied for printing on melamine papers which cover panels and laminates. Melamine papers are made of very thin paper layers which are saturated with resins of different kind. After printing through a digital printer, they are used to produce panels and laminates having an exceptional resistance to scratch and solvents. These main features, hardness and solidity, allow for melamine panels and laminates to be diffusely used in furniture and home decoration industry. This is also due to the fact that melamine papers are extremely suitable to be printed with graphics reproducing woods design and artprints used in furniture, walls, floors.
Through digital printing it is possibile to reach exceptional graphic results thus making very difficult to recognize natural wood from its perfect imitation!!
J-MelaMine has been expressly developed for this particularly application highly used in industrial printing. In fact, the final uses are many: furniture and decoration of house, offices and hotels but also vessels, ships, aircrafts etc.
The ink is available in CMYK and features very good printability with Kyocera heads. Other characteristics are the exceptional light resistance and the very good colour saturation which allows for the production of graphics with vivid and bright colours.
