GMC Inspire Interactive for Remote Authoring (Booth 641) is a collaborative thin-client application that allows print service providers (PSP) to significantly reduce costs and time to market by giving control of specific document changes to the customer. Developed as a web-based, self-service portal, Inspire Interactive for Remote Authoring makes it possible for a PSP’s customers to create, edit, proof and deploy changes to projects from their desktop. Because change requests and project reruns within the production process significantly slow productivity, the application provides a guided, interactive portal to give customers the operational dexterity and scalability necessary to meet the dynamic requirements of their business by making as many iterations as needed on customer communications—without slowing a PSPs production process. This enables rapid adaptation to market and regulatory conditions as they occur. With Inspire Interactive for Remote Authoring, users can manage complex text, images, rules and design templates in a controlled manner. Changes that use defined business logic and rules, such as macro text or images, text blocks, sections, attachments and full variable documents, can be immediately implemented and ready for production. Additionally, customers get instant proofs and a documented tracking and decision history.
