Dorstener Wire Drawing (Booth 461) is showcasing its PowerBrand wire in gauges from 18 to 28, packaged in all common spools sizes, as well as the high capacity EasyDrum system. The wire will be manufactured at the company’s new plant in Pennsylvania. In addition, DWD will offer the BindService product line, which includes wire lubricants, handling, and de-spooling equipment. DWD PowerBrand wire uses low carbon steel and allows for the use of smaller gauge wire sizes. PowerBrand stitching wire uses more stitches per pound, has better bundle formation, and reduced stitching head maintenance intervals. In addition, PowerBrand wire has reduced downtime due to dropped or short stitches, and has better performance at higher speeds or when producing loop or safety stitches.
