HP Scitex FB7600 customer case study: Bridgeshire boosts POS capacity and wins new business

Bridgeshire Packaging & Display gains point-of-sale (POS) capacity, moves substantial analog work to digital, winning new business with the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press.

Bridgeshire Packaging & Display wanted to increase profitability by accelerating growth in the point of sale (POS) and point of purchase (POP) markets. The company needed to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. It also wanted to expand its digital-printing capabilities and move a large percentage of screen printing to digital printing.

In November 2011, Bridgeshire installed the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press, along with the Esko XP Kongsberg digital cutter with an auto feeder.

Thanks to the expanded capacity of the HP Scitex FB7600, Bridgeshire is able to meet ultra-tight turnarounds and image-quality requirements to bring in new business. The new HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press enabled Bridgeshire to move a LEGO Company Ltd. job from outsourced litho to in-house digital printing. Less than 6 months after the installation, Bridgeshire has moved more than 60% of its screen printing to digital printing.
