CHALLENGE
-Momento Pro, the first print-on-demand photo book service in Australia, wanted to bring print production in-house to reduce delays, satisfy time-sensitive orders and assert quality control.

-As business expanded, the company needed to address the requests of a new customer base: professional photographers.

SOLUTION
-Momento Pro took cues from their external print providers and invested in an HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press, then upgraded three years later to the HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press.

RESULTS
-The company prints up to 3,000 digital photo books per week, without sacrificing quality, and cut turnaround times from three weeks to two days.

-The company was able to expand into new markets, including calendars, journals, greeting cards, and stationery.

-Momento Pro won Book of the Year and Australian Book of the Year at the prestigious Galley Club Awards—the first time these awards were won by a digital printer.
