The gamut riddle and how to solve it - with Marco Olivotto

A Fabric Hub session at FESPA Digital 2014.
The problem of colour reproduction is invariably limited by the output conditions: in many cases what we see on a good monitor can't be reproduced in print because we face a limited gamut, i.e. too small a colour palette. This may cause endless pains and misunderstandings with clients, as well as economic damage at times. The workshops offer a different view on gamut problems and how thinking in terms of the final output may actually help, as well as suggestions about techniques apt to minimize the side-effects.
