Printed Electronics - From Lab to Production and Business

Printed Electronics is a new technology which allows applications in manifold industries. The vision sounds incredible: Functional elements manufactured on a printing machine using novel materials: From Displays to Lighting, Smart Objects to printed circuits or sensors, there are many ways to use the technology and production methods. The talk provides an overview on the state of the art and describes applications, the roadmap and perspectives derived from the work of the OE-A -- the leading industrial association in the field. This overview is combined with the view and experience of PolyIC -- one of the leading companies in the field, which calls itself the "Chip Printers"
